These terms govern every sale of PLDS products concluded on the basis of a quote issued by our teams, whether the request was made on this site, by phone, WhatsApp, e-mail or at our depot.
The selection on the site is not an order: it is used to prepare a personalised quote, valid 30 days.

Delivery in Dakar and the regions under the terms of the quote, or collection from our depot.
Check on receipt; report any reservation within 48 h for fast handling.
These terms and conditions of sale apply to all sales of pipes, fittings, accessories and consumables made by Plomberie du Sénégal (PLDS), Zone industrielle, Dakar — Sénégal, to professional or private customers.
Acceptance of a quote implies unreserved acceptance of these terms, which prevail over any other customer document unless PLDS agrees otherwise in writing.
Products shown on the site are described as accurately as possible (designation, reference, dimensions, characteristics). Photographs and visuals are not contractual.
“In stock” and “Made to order” are indicative at the time of viewing; firm availability is confirmed on the quote. “Made to order” products are manufactured or sourced within the lead time stated on the quote.
Selecting products in the cart and sending a quote request from the site do not constitute a firm order. PLDS sends the customer a detailed quote (references, quantities, unit prices, taxes, any delivery costs, lead times and payment terms).
Unless stated otherwise, a quote is valid for 30 days from its issue date. The order becomes firm on receipt of written acceptance of the quote (signature, e-mail or confirmation message) and, where applicable, of the agreed deposit.
Any change to an order after acceptance (quantities, references, address) must be confirmed by PLDS and may give rise to an additional quote or revised lead times.
Prices are expressed in CFA francs (XOF). The quote states whether they are exclusive or inclusive of tax and the applicable VAT rate. Delivery, handling or specific packaging costs are shown separately.
PLDS applies volume-based pricing and may offer special terms to regular customers (companies, resellers, local authorities). Prices on an accepted quote are firm for the quote's validity period.
Payment terms (cash, deposit on order and balance on delivery, or payment period for account customers) are stated on the quote and invoice. Accepted payment methods are specified by PLDS: bank transfer, mobile money, cheque or cash within legal limits.
No payment is made on the site. In case of late payment, PLDS reserves the right to suspend ongoing deliveries and apply the penalties provided by the regulations in force.
At the customer's choice stated on the quote, products are:
Delivery times are indicative and run from acceptance of the quote and receipt of any deposit. A reasonable delay gives no right to cancellation or compensation. The customer undertakes to ensure the delivery location is accessible and that a person authorised to take delivery is present.
Products travel at the customer's risk from handover to the carrier, unless delivered by PLDS's own means, in which case risk passes on handover to the customer.
The customer (or representative) checks the condition and conformity of products on delivery or collection: quantities, references, appearance, absence of breakage. Any anomaly must be noted on the delivery note and confirmed to PLDS within 48 hours at info@plds.sn, with photos.
After this period and without reservation, products are deemed accepted. PLDS will, as appropriate, replace the non-conforming product, issue a credit note or a refund.
PLDS warrants that its products conform to their designation and are free from manufacturing defects, when used for their intended purpose and in accordance with good practice (storage, handling, installation, jointing, operating pressure).
The warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper installation, operating pressure or temperature exceeding the product's characteristics, inappropriate storage (prolonged sun exposure, impacts), product modification or normal wear.
PLDS's liability is limited to replacing products recognised as defective or refunding their price, excluding any indirect damage (loss of business, site delays, removal and refitting costs).
Apart from non-conformity, returns are only accepted with PLDS's prior written agreement, for standard, unused products in their original packaging, within 7 days of delivery. Return costs are borne by the customer. Products manufactured or sourced specifically for the customer are neither taken back nor exchanged.
PLDS retains ownership of delivered products until full payment of the price, principal and ancillary costs. The customer nevertheless bears custody and risk from delivery.
Data collected during quote requests and orders is processed in accordance with our privacy policy, in compliance with Law No. 2008-12 on the protection of personal data.
The trademarks, logos, texts, photographs and data sheets on the site are the property of PLDS or its partners. Any reproduction or use without written authorisation is prohibited.
PLDS cannot be held liable for non-performance or delayed performance of its obligations resulting from force majeure within the meaning of the applicable regulations (raw-material supply disruption, strike, exceptional weather, administrative decision, prolonged power outage, etc.).
These terms are governed by Senegalese law and the OHADA Uniform Acts. In the event of a dispute, the parties will seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute is brought before the competent courts of Dakar, unless a mandatory provision protecting the consumer provides otherwise.
